Welcome to Our Cloud Computing Page!
A paradigm shift from traditional IT to the cloud is occurring. What is the cloud? The Cloud is the manifestation of the abstraction of IT services, processes, and technology offered by service cloud providers.
Cloud computing offers many benefits including reduced costs, standardization, security, data redundancy, increased data centre capacity, the ability to scale dynamically with demand, reduced software development and maintenance, positions IT to support organizational business goals increasing profit, etc...
Consider the following:
Service Cloud Providers
Service Cloud Providers compete with each other and traditional IT for individual and organizational business. Each has a unique "cloud dna" consisting of their intellectual property ownership, particular competencies, respective partners, etc... which they leverage in order to offer services to the public.
The internet is taking over commerce and businesses that aren’t being successful selling on the internet and properly leveraging internet technology are being left behind by their competitors that are.
Cloud services are offered cafeteria style and in bundled packages which businesses can source. Cloud VARs represent different service cloud providers.
Cloud Computing refers to the delivery of software, infrastructure, or development platforms as a service ([BSaas][MSaas], SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), enabled by a multi-tenant architecture which can provide service on-demand, elastically, as determined by customers through a usage-based metering system.
Government compliance, organizational trust models and policies, data encryption requirements, security modeling, developer API considerations, private - hybrid - public cloud considerations, planning and migration issues, tax issues, legal issues, intellectual property issues, political issues, etc... ideally should be considered and properly integrated when and where it is necessary or desirable to do so.
